8 appendages sit flush with the cast surface, never touching or penetrating the skin.
Cost Effective
One device provides four different spreading widths, reducing inventory costs.
Quick Application
No special training required. Simple placement in seconds.
Patient Comfort
Allows controlled swelling relief without cast removal or replacement.
Reliable Hold
Held securely in place by the cast itself. Optional tape for active patients.
Better Outcomes
Reduces complications from cast pressure while maintaining immobilization.
How to Use
Safe application in three easy steps. No special training required.

Select & Place
Select the width you wish to use and place the Kast Spreader into the split cast until the 8 appendages are flush with the cast surface.

Position Multiple
Place as many Kast Spreaders along the split cast as necessary, in any combination of sizes. After all spreaders are in place, release the cast stretcher so that the Kast Spreader will be held in place by the cast. By design, they will not penetrate the cast or touch the skin.

Secure if Needed
If necessary for casts used in vigorous movement, secure Kast Spreader with a strip of surgical tape.
